Gibson 2013 Min-ETune Guitar ¡¡¡

Gibson USA is celebrating 2013 as the Year of Les Paul, and there’s no better tribute than a guitar dedicated to the man himself. The Les Paul Signature “T” wraps all of Les Paul’s legendary innovation into a sweet looking and great sounding Les Paul that honors the memory of this legendary guitar’s inventor, while providing an instrument primed for the power and versatility demanded by today’s gigging guitarist. Traditional tonewoods are married to enhanced playing comfort and two of Gibson’s finest PAF-style humbucking pickups, with upgraded switching for bonus single-coil tones. The Grade-AA figured maple top looks great beneath your choice of Translucent Ebony, Alpine White Burst, Wine Red, or Vintage Sunburst finish, all in high-gloss nitrocellulose lacquer. Or select a classic Goldtop finish. To kick it all into the 21st century—and remember, Les Paul was an innovator first and foremost—the Les Paul Signature “T” is also available with optional Min-ETune™ automated “robot” tuning, which can be added to your guitar with no internal modification for a nominal upcharge. The Les Paul Signature “T” is available in a left-handed model, and you can add extra class to this tribute to the man himself by opting for the Les Paul Signature “T” Gold Series, with the elegance of gold-plated hardware.
The Les Paul Signature “T” is built on a foundation of the same traditional tonewood combination that helped to make the Les Paul Standard legendary when it first arrived six decades ago. A carved solid Grade-AA figured maple top lends bite and articulation to the sound, while a select mahogany back—treated with Gibson’s traditional weight relief to increase playing comfort and enhance resonance—contributes superb warmth and depth. A solid, quarter-sawn mahogany neck is glued in and carved in the fast 60s SlimTaper™ profile, and topped with a rich brown Grade-A Granadillo fingerboard with 22 medium-jumbo frets and traditional trapezoid inlays. Traditional touches include cream body and fingerboard binding, pickguard, and pickup rings, along with gold Speed Knobs and a black “bell” truss-rod cover with commemorative “T” engraving. Classic Gibson construction ensures optimum playability, too, along with traditional specs like a 24 ¾” scale length, a 1 11/16” width across the PLEK-cut Corian™ nut, and a 12-inch fingerboard radius for smooth, easy bending.
For a blend of vintage tone and modern versatility, the Les Paul Signature “T” is loaded with a pair of Gibson’s ’57 Classic™ pickups, mounted “open coil” for a subtle hotrod look. Both are made in the image of the hallowed PAF humbucker of the late 1950s with Alnico II magnets in the neck position for plenty of warmth and clarity, and in the bridge position, the ’57 Classic Plus™ which features slightly over-wound coils for juicy crunch and wailing lead tones. Both pickups are wax potted, too, to avoid microphonic squeal at high volume levels. Both pickups feature push-pull tone controls which provide coil splitting for authentic single-coil tones. The innovative pairing of a Tune-o-Matic™ bridge and Stopbar tailpiece ensures solid sustain and precise intonation, while a set of high-quality Grover™ locking tuners ensures smooth, accurate tuning. Upgrade to the Les Paul Signature “T” Gold Series for the custom touch of gold-plated hardware, or select automated Min-ETuneTM “robot” tuners as a factory option on the standard edition.

PRS MAKES BASSES ¡¡¡

PRS get into the world of basses with this 2 new bass.

– Paul Reed Smith and Gary Grainger began collaborating on what would become Private Stock Gary Grainger basses a decade ago. Now, in 2013, the Maryland manufacturer is proud to announce the evolution of this line as they add two new basses to their Core product offering: the Grainger 4 and Grainger 5. This announcement brings every product offering available from PRS into the Maryland-made Core line and is another landmark for the company who introduced new amplifier and acoustic guitar lines in 2009.
Gary Grainger has played with the likes of John Scofield, Dennis Chambers, and Frank Gambali. As the primary designer of PRS Private Stock basses, Gary collaborated with many bass artists, including Wyzard (Mother’s Finest) and Kevin Walker (Justin Timberlake), to create a PRS bass with all the character and quality of Gary’s Private Stock models but with a more universal appeal that could be offered through the company’s Core production line. Specifications include a maple top, mahogany back, 34” scale length, 24 fret maple neck, rosewood fretboard, and PRS bird inlays. Grainger 4 and 5 basses operate both passively and actively.

TONE KING ¡¡¡¡ DOCUMENTARY ¡¡

Since 2008, we here at The Tone King have used our experience and knowledge to keep you up to date on the newest guitar gear. So far it’s been a hell of a ride! But now we want to bring it to the next level.
In short, we want you to help us make a documentary. We need your help to answer the question: “What is the future of gear?”
We decided that if we were going to do this, we were going to do it right. You know what they say; “Either go big or go home.”
Whether it’s Fender’s failed IPO or Guitar Center nearing bankruptcy, the future of gear is not exactly clear. Some manufacturers will tell you the future lies in emerging markets like China or India, while others are going back to basics and building some of their old favorites.
In a 5-part documentary, we will talk to the creators, the investors, the manufacturers, the sellers, and the players. We want to know what new gear is around the bend. We want to know where it's going to be built. We want to know how much it will cost. We want the full story.
Part One: The Creators
These are the guys who come up with the ideas for gear. Whether it’s Leo Fender or Hisatake Shibuya, there’s always an innovator who gets it all going. Who are the innovators of today? And where do they see guitars and amps going in the future?
Part Two: The Investors
Whether you like it or not, it takes money to make money. And while many investors have brought us the best in gear, there are many who have also brought us the worst. Questions always linger when the investors get too involved: “What does an investor know about guitars?”
Part Three: The Manufacturers
U.S. or China? Japan or Indonesia? Where are the next great pieces going to be manufactured? How are companies going to combat the problem of ‘knock-off’ pieces that have been making their way into the black market? And, how are companies going to maintain quality work when they are dealing with manufacturers that are thousands of miles away?
Part Four: The Sellers
With the financial problems of Big-Box stores how is this going to affect the family shops? Will Guitar Center go under or will they find a way to bring themselves back from the brink? What gear are the local shops looking forward to?
Part Five: The Players
The most important part of the chain, what do the players expect from the future of gear? What are they looking for? Do they want something new, or are they happy with the old-school gear that they’ve always used?

How Your Money Will Be Spent:
After doing videos for four years, we’ve realized two things: Videos are expensive and time consuming.
Even though we think that we know a thing or two about vids considering we’ve been doing them for four years, a documentary is freaking huge. And the costs are just as huge. Here are just a few things that the money will go towards:
1 – Gas Money, Airfare, and Lodging at various locations around the world for The Tone King and his cameraman
2 – Video and sound editing
3 – Graphic work and animations
4 – Writing and editing for press releases and articles
5 – Licensing
If you can't contribute money to the campaign but still want to help, contact us and we'll see if we have a job for you. Let us know if you're into video editing, graphic work, marketing, or anything else that might help us get this project off the ground.
So, if you want to see where the world of gear is headed, make sure you contribute what you can, and we’ll get to work.

NEW MARKET GUITARS and 27.5, 25.5 26 Lengths

Now in this days its more common saw metal guitars with specs like this , with the time the guitar improv to a lot of different ways , 7,8,9 even 10 strings something not see in electric guitars ( in baroque age , we have guitars with 10 strings like this , just click  Narciso Yepes Concierto de aranjuez in this video you would see the guitar. ) , but now its more common to saw that kind of E-guitars.

Well, For what the hell are the longer lengths scales ?¿ ......

With low tunnings the guitar tension change and you need to have a heavier gauge of strings to deal with tension... the longer scale impro your sound getting a more chunk tone thats why now guitar specs are changing there is frets with crazy forms , Slide pickups, more that 24 frets ... new material frets that are more resistant  to corrosions and play .... but it seems that only this happen with new brands who fight for customers and gives you better specs for reasonable money.. but ibanez and other loose their charm .. ibanez offers now guitars with basswood bodies that its a cheap wood and they sale you at the same price.. i`m not saying that ibanez is bad my first guitars was an MTM1br Ibanez Signature and i love it <3 but today there is no cool stuffs just 1 or 2 signatures and J customs ... Gibson are awesome but i don`t like the improvs that they make .. Les paul`s are classic guitars and they have to keep it like that , they are icons ..... Fenders keeps cool : ) ...... ESP, IBANEZ, JACKSON, DEAN and that big brands have to worry cuz little Companies are getting higher specs for a good price ... you can buy one with  2000 USD and for the specs its a good deal believe. Not saying that any brand are bad ... but if you make good guitars and have a good price keep it like that... if you offer shit guitars for expense price someone its gonna notice the changes... :P so if you want to check awesome guitars search in internet there is a lot of new companies  that want good customers and they gives you great guitars .. im saving for one of thouse when i have it ill show you guys.

Cool Brand New Companies ¡¡¡¡
Click in links below to see them.

Daemoness Guitars  UK guitars not cheap guitars but you will shit in your pants when you saw them.

Strictly 7                  USA Guitars with cheap prices and good Quality..

Bernie Rico Jr Guitars USA guitars from Bernie rico Jr ... The son of B.C. Rich (Bernardo Chávez Rico).

Hufschmid Guitars     Switzerland Guitars ... Cool brand of picks and guitars check em out they have
                                   awesome picks too.

Skervesen                Polish Guitars they are awesome better specs for better price... 5 stars to this brand.

Blackats Guitar     Polish Guitars Good Quality,Body shapes like Telecasters but more like metal guitar.

Thanks I hope you like it ¡¡¡ subscribe ¡¡ and check all the news about guitars .. sometimes i cant upload entrys but i gonna try to do it more often.     .\m/ ^_^ \m/.

True , False & Myths about Guitars ¡¡¡¡ Part 1.

You can Ask me about any topic at down here in Blog,   Twitter, FB or YouTube.

Its true that if i get a Heavier Strings Gauge my tone its gonna sound chunk ?

The Answer its YES , Heavier Gauges make a more fat tone but usually are used in low tunings cuz the tension are bigger and if you tune in Standard probably you gonna get a bad time trying make a bend or  even play guitar normally, so if you play low tunings try a heavier gauge its gonna improv your sound but try some bright round Strings they sound really great i do  recommend Daddario strings they have really good tones and harmonics.

I have to Spend a lot of thousand of Dollars to get a good tone and be cool ?

FALSE, There is a lot of good stuff at low cost that you can afford it and get started like a pro musician , Example there is good guitars that are used by a lot of Metal heads in the web like Agile Guitars, and tiny amps like the orange Tiny terror series or Mesaboogie , Vox , Krank , Fender and of course digital ones like Line 6, Vox, And VST for Computers. And to be cool you only Need to feel Cool : ) .

So just need like 1000 or 2000 USD dollars ....XD and if you want to be really pro than gonna cost u like 15,000 so 1 or 2 Thousand sounds good : ).

With The time the guitar get your tone ?

Myth but True at least for me , If you buy a guitar you gonna notice one tone and feel , that can be good but with the past of time the guitar its gonna sound different and you gonna just to it , thats its strange but its like the guitar Absorbs your feeling and get connect to you ... with the time and even if anyone play it the guitar gonna sound better in your hands that in other one ... but thats its more spiritual thing that a science fact so thats why is still a Myth.

If I play guitar I'm gonna be more cool and have more friends ?

False, If that would be true this blog doesn't exist ... naaa but its true that you have more opportunity of meet more people with your interest or important people in the world of guitar that its the good part , you can meet people of a lot of countries and if you are here that makes you really  cool :P.

Its True that is difficult have success in music and I'm gonna die starving ?

False, get success in music depends on believe your self no matter what people tells you , if you believe yourself you can do it , always its gonna be people saying that you don't know nothing or are just a fool kind , but  if you don't  believe in your self anyone its gonna do , so go a head a show the world what you can do , Make videos , Study Marketing , Practice A lot , Get a nice Gear , Make Contact with famous people and always believe your self thats the path to be good it this industry ... its not going to be easy but if you don't try it you never gonna know what could happen : ) .

Old Brand guitars are better that New brand guitars?

False, But its true that new brands are giving you not quality guitars for big prices :S , Ibanez, LTD , jackson, dean gives you not good quality in the Economic line , and in the middle one too , at example of that its that Ibanez introduce Basswood bodys to all most the line guitars, an basswood its a cheap wood that its a cheaper version of the alder tone ... only good Quality Wood its find in High rage  Guitars so brands are now not good at before .. Gibson and  Fender gives your great Wood but not so much quality in set the guitar and details but still great guitars... try some New Brands like Blackat , Striclty, Skervensen they have great guitars at below 2000 USD range its not cheaper,  but its gonna have better specs  that ibanez  gonna gives you for that price.

Its true that wood are the most important in a guitar?

TRUE , Wood gives you the tone its the one that makes the tone and dissipate vibrations all thru the body its more important have good Quality Wood to Quality Pickups , Pickups cost 200 USD good guitar wood cost up to 2000 USD or a little less ... so its better buy a 2000 Guitar with good Wood to buy a Fancy one with great pickups, lights , shred specs , 27 jumbo frets ....but bad wood  make that fancy guitar in a pile of Shi..·"$·" ....
